Life is Good...

What a great week! We are healthy, happy and filled with the Holy Spirit. I read an email today that said people are like pumpkins, God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He makes you a new face with a smile and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see. Isn't that the truth?

We shared with Pastor Roger Wrights' church in Livonia this past weekend. His congregation is very kind and friendly. We enjoyed Sunday school and later watching them take family pictures for their new church directory. Therese, Pastor Rogers' wife, did a wonderful piece where she signed to a beautiful song by Steven Curtis Chapman. The title was "For the sake of the Call" and it was awesome!!! We were members of a mission team to South Dakota a few years ago that Roger and Therese led.

Each visit to a church is different, each in its' own way is such a testimony. It's wonderful to see where God is leading all His people. He works through each of us in some unique way.

Jeff and Danette are coming this week to share more of Zambia with us. As of this date, there are 19 teams scheduled in 2008 (for at least one to two weeks) to work with the orphan trust programs. We will be busy! We will also get an update on when groundbreaking will take place for the construction project.

Thank you for your continued prayers, we are blessed by your outpouring of support. Remember, each day we are all doing Gods' work no matter where we are!

It's so nice to read your blog and catch up on you two! Thank you so much for the picture. It is beautiful. (Jim and Melanie are going to hold onto it until we move in February to our new house). We will continue to keep you in our prayers!
