Here's David working on tuning up his "ride". Only six weeks old, the bike has already worn through the front bearings. The roads here are really hard on any kind of transportation.
David's first construction project, a lean to for all the World Hope vehicles, including all the motor bikes. In less than a weeks time, they have all the supports up, half the roof on and the concrete is being manually poured today. This is very fast work by Zambian standards. The concrete workers mix the concrete by hand (shovel), it is such hard work. It looks great!
The men here are great, David is really enjoying working with them. They were sharing with each other the quickest way to drive a nail, STRAIGHT! We are both feeling blessed by the relationships we are developing. David is becoming good friends with our Pastor and really enjoys their talks. Each Wednesday morning the entire staff meets for bible study and devotions.
