God is teaching me so much... We having been telling friends and family that we are selling all our things and have begun decluttering rooms in the house and packing things to get ready for a big sale. My sister in law called on Friday morning and said she wanted to buy my motorcycle and would like to pick it up that evening. My first thought was NOT YET!!! I asked her to wait until today so I could ride it one more time last night. After we hung up, I took my daily walk with the dogs and prayed. My first (human) thought was didn't God know that I wouldn't want to part with my bike until the last minute?? Learning to ride last year was a big accomplishment and I really enjoyed having a bike. David and I enjoyed riding together in the evenings. I felt sad but at the same time I knew that things are happening in Gods' time, not mine. This is one more confirmation to me that when we take that leap of faith, He takes charge of when, where and whom.
She came to pick it up this morning and watching it go down the road without me was okay. It's just more "stuff". We got a lot accomplished this morning and then I had to fly to San Francisco for a business conference. I'm sitting in my hotel room thinking I should be doing something! We haven't stopped moving for the last three weeks. Again, Gods' timing... this conference has been planned for six months and I can admit that I need the rest.
David is on vacation this week and will be finishing up that honey do list. I fly home on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday we are driving to Western New York for their yearly district church conference. We are representing World Hope For Children on Friday morning.
Please pray that our support letters are awakening a fire in many people to answer Gods' call to help do His work. We pray for strength and guidance to continue to follow His will and accept His timing.
