WHIZ staff traveled to outlying villages to do food distributions to caregivers. The flatbed truck got stuck in a hole and it took them three hours to get it out. You can see the village members helping unload the truck and carrying the food to the church for distribution. David said he was so humbled by the reactions of the villagers. You can see by the smiling faces how pleased they are, they have worked very hard.
We feel so blessed to be part of this work, WHI is helping the Zambians do amazing things to restore their dignity and hope.
Usually its' the women who carries items on her head, the smiles are priceless!
This wonderful woman is
over 100 years old and David said she is smart as a whip and very funny! We have fallen in the love with the people.
